International Istanbul Fashion Fair has the aim of presenting the Turkish ready-to-wear to the world, establishing it as a brand and making Istanbul stand the forefront. The main objective of the fair is to transform Istanbul into a fashion capital by making the world meet in Istanbul. The mass participation from all over the world is expected and numerous international purchasers have filed their pre-registration applications to visit the fair. The common mission and collobration between CNR EXPO Fairs, IF FEDERATION and ITKIB (Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporter Associations) to turn the city into a international fashion center has culminated in the International Istanbul Fashion Fair. It holds distinct importance as a platform that spotlights Turkey's performance on a global scale. The application of promotional and event activities in local and international press and media mediums which are outlined in the program have been implemented. Noteworthy designers from Turkey and abroad will be participating in this fair which will bring professional buyers from throughout the world together with exhibitors in Turkey with the full support of the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade. This fair will bring the sector buyers together with the participants in Istanbul with the support of Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade. The fair to which the purchasing groups will come from foreign countries is going to host the new trade agreements with purchasers of international firms of the Turkish ready-to-wear industry.

Highlights

Turkish Ready-to-wear market is the world’s 4th largest ready-to-wear clothing exporter. Almost 70% of the total output of the ready-to-wear market industry is exported. Turkish textile and clothing industry has been growing rapidly not only in terms of production but also in terms of exports. Turkey has “free-trade agreements” with the countries below whom EU is in preferential trade agreement with. These countries are; Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and EFTA (European Free Trade Association). Many professionals are expected in the Fashion Fair from the countries like Algeria, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Latvia, Libia, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, Ukraine, United Kingdom and USA.
